Old Town Cape’s free concert series Tunes at Twilight will present the Hot Club of St. Louis on May 15.
The acoustic jazz quartet is led by Joe Park and performs classics made famous by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, as well as original compositions.
You can hear the Hot Club of St. Louis at Tunes at Twilight at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 15, at Ivers Square in downtown Cape Girardeau. Be sure to bring your blanket or lawn chair.

**Tunes at Twilight is a rain-or-shine event. If the weather does not permit an outdoor concert, Tunes at Twilight is moved indoors to Gospel Life Church at 817 Broadway in Downtown Cape. Gospel Life Church allows concert attendees to bring coolers, food, and beverages to their venue.

The Red House Interpretive Center will celebrate local history at its annual Red House Heritage Day on May 16.
Activities will include tours, blacksmithing, lace making, historic exhibits, and a display of the 27 officially adopted flags in U.S. history. The Reynolds House will be joining in the fun and activities this year with showings of weaving, tatting, and more.
Red House Heritage Day will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 128 Aquamsi Street in downtown Cape Girardeau. This event is free and open to the public.

Ste. Genevieve Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Walk and Plant Sale on May 16-17.
Held in the historic downtown district, community members are invited to tour public and private gardens and explore the plant sale amongst the blooming roses, peonies, foxglove, irises, and more. The garden walk is in collaboration with MU Extension Master Gardeners.
The Garden Walk and Plant Sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, in historic Ste. Genevieve. There is a small fee to attend.
Tickets are available at the Ste. Genevieve Welcome Center, 66 S. Main Street.

Join us for a fun day of tabletop games! Nicolette Tanksley of Heartland Gaming Con. is bringing several exciting board games for you to play. Try your hand at a new game or hone your skills on a familiar one. If you have a hard time learning a game on your own, we've got some folks who can teach you a few. There will even be some board games you can win and take home with you! Anyone who likes games is welcome to attend, we've got a game for every age and experience level. All supplies will be provided. Registration for this event is required. (all ages)

Our sensory craft times specialize in making crafts accessible and available to adults with mental disabilities. All are welcome to join, however, this session has been structured for adults with mental, behavioral, or physical disabilities. Two sessions are offered each month; please register for only one session.
This month we are creating marshmallow catapults out of popsicle sticks and rubber bands! (ages 18+)
